This site is dedicated to Augusta Ada King, Lady Lovelace,
 her pursuit of mathematics and music together with her poetic heritage.
Ada is credited with inventing computer programming. She originated the idea of #39;the stored program#39;, albeit in the form of holes drilled into #39;wood cards#39;(a concept that was already implemented in the weaving industry). She is furthermore credited with originating the concepts of programming: the sequence of simple instructions, the repetiton of one or more instructions, and the #39;If Then Else#39; construct. These were and remain to this day the basics of structured programming.
